expect - how to discard the buffer if expected string is not found -

I need to generate a script which generates many outputs which also slows the regex output of the output The buffer fills up quickly when I use the large match_max value.

I want to see the output for a particular string. If the string is not present, then I would still like to leave the output.

I tried to use default matches, globes, and negative regags to capture unwanted strings, but this could not work. / P>

How can this be done with hope?

'seems' more testing is required to do this work):
